Yes! I'm back! And this time it's personal...
Just wandered onto OG's blog, which he has diligently kept updated ever since his deportation to keep us entertained and realised that I miss the whole blogging phenomenon. Has the dreaded Facebook fad passed yet? As I've said before, I'm not a fan of that, so I never use it.
It is 1.5 years since my last post!! How time flies and how little I've accomplished! What's the news in the last year? We all know about Lunt's life changes (though some things don't change - he still smells) - welcome to Leeds. Mr & Mrs Acres have spawned George, an absolute belter and have another in the oven. Fatty Kwai is back in the country (part of the Harrogate jet-set) and has also managed to put Nic in the club. Well done! Millward has now exhausted all forms of popular/rock music and is currently listening to recordings of a remote tribe in Kenya strumming their lower lips. Trantorial has got engaged to Marie and we're all looking forward to the stag do, erm, I mean wedding. Denners has had another beautiful daughter - god knows how, with his looks ;-)
As all 2 of you reading this know, I have bought a flat in Roundhay, Leeds. Sir Jimmy Saville lives up the road - I've seen him in Rounday Park a couple of times, sitting by the children's playground... (all very innocent). My timing was impeccable - I managed to buy at the very peak of the housing bubble last August and am probably sitting on considerable negative equity. Master stroke. Still, I love the flat and am very happy with it. Just had a 46" HDTV installed, so I'm the daddy now!
Blogging is back. I might post the occasional random spurt. Watch this space, though don't hold your breath...
