Pen-y-Ghent

Another weekend walking trip for our 'club' (without Lunt, for whom this date had been arranged, only for him to later remember that he had to go to his mate's wedding). This time we went up Pen-y-Ghent in the Yorkshire Dales. A rather easy trek in comparison with our last trip up Scafell Pike.

However, the beautiful views at the top of the peak didn't materialise due to mist - couldn't see more than about 20 metres. It was freezing and windy at the top.

We had a good night of pub sports in the Golden Lion in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, followed by frisbee in the morning. Cool.
The team (with new member Alima, Jack's girlfriend, next to Mark who appears to be standing to attention (ahem))...

The resting spot at the top for lunch. Notice Acres' less-than-ideal attire for the chilly conditions. Minus 10 points, Warwick, but plus 10 points for toughness.

I've just zoomed in on Mark H and have concluded that he has a nice rack. Great definition. Look for yourself.

Please don't disappoint me by saying it was just the way he was sticking his chest out.

How come Terry is wearing a coat - has he gone soft living down south?

Why is Acres dressed like a 1950's schoolboy?
