Summer days, drifting away...

But oh, those summer nights. Roll on autumn! No blog updates from me for ages because, well, frankly I haven't had anything interesting to post.

The world cup now seems like a distant memory; not a tournament to live long in the memory (especially England's abysmal showing). I'm encouraged by United's early season form (9 pts from 9 as I write), but plenty of time for SAF to blow it by fielding Fletcher & O'Pie in the middle with Rooney & Solskjaer on the wings. (Btw, great to see OGS back - a true United legend if ever there was one.)

I've spent the last few months toiling in the gulag (aka the boring world of investment consulting) and romancing ladeez. Not sure where I'll be this time next year - somewhere else I hope.

Let's have some musical debate (see below) - give me your views!
